Today I decided to pack a picnic and get the family sorted for a day out at Springbrook. The Natural Bridge holds a special place for us as this is where I took Hubby for a date 2 days after we had met....YEP! 20years old taking a guy out to woop woop late at night because I love a good adventure. Madness, YES! but it won his heart and were still together 12 years later.

This was taken in 2016.From memory this was the 1st time we had returned since our 1st date and little did we know next month I would be pregnant with a baby girl after a very long awaited 2.5years.

Today we returned a little less sunkissed with our little adventurer and she absolutely loved it...a little freaked out about the huge cave & waterfall but she still loved it. The waterfall was intense today so no family snap inside.

You can go through the day and see all that Mumma Nature has to offer or you can go at night time and experience the beautiful GLOW WORM CAVE! The worms glow is significantly reduced in winter but they are still beautiful to see and if you look close enough to the back of the cave you will see a mass of black bats hanging from the top.
The circuit is a 1klm round circuit and no map is needed as they have paths and signs to follow.

Once inside the arched cave you will be able to witness the waterfall plunging from above through a large rock opening. Be sure to take the path that takes you around to the top of the cave and witness it from above. It is truly stunning.
Here are a few pictures we snapped today and back in 2016.I hope you enjoy this little snippet of such an incredible part of the world. We truly do live in a beautiful part of the country.

Much Love
