Getting Juicy

2019 is all about self love, getting back to cooking and creating wholesome foods that nourish the body and moving the body because I love it, not to punish myself.

One way I love to nourish myself is by drinking cold pressed juices. I absolutely love the amount of veggies I can pack into them and for me they always give my dijestive system a little break. I need all the greens I can get and the best way I get them is through smoothies or juices.

Be sure that when juicing you use a cold press juicer if possible,this will help keep the nutrients and also be sure to use within 3 days to make sure you get the most health benefits from them.

Here are some of my favourite goto recipes but have fun and give flavours that you like a go.I hate celery in a juice so I never juice it, why make a juice I hate.Food should be enjoyed.Just be sure to make it mostly veggies and only a small amount of fruit and just have fun with it!!!

Green Juice

ALL MAKE 2-3 JUICES

INGREDIENTS

2 CUPS KALE

2 CUPS SPINACH

4 LEBANESE CUCUMBER

2 GREEN APPLES

1 LEMON PEELED

GOOD HANDFUL OF MINT LEAVES

IMMUNE BOOSTER

4 ORANGES PEELED(MAKES SURE THEY TASTE NICE BEFORE JUICNG!)

6 CARROTS

1 KNOB GINGER

SMALL AMOUNT OF FRESH TUMERIC

VEGGIE BOOSTER

1 BEETROOT

4 CARROTS

2 APPLES

2 CUCUMBER ( OR CELERY IF YOU LIKE CELERY)

1 INCH GINGER

MY ULTIMATE GOTO REFRESHING FRUIT JUICE IS….

MINTY MELON

1/8 WATERMELON

4 APPLES

1 BIG HANDFUL MINTLEAVES

1 PUNNET STRAWBERRIES

(PINEAPPLE IS ALSO SO NICE IN THIS JUICE)
