Banana Bread

Not many people know but banana bread may seem like a healthy option when you go get coffee at the local takeaway shop but in actual fact it is loaded with sugar,refined flours and preservatives.I am not saying this is a bad thing but it is definitely a treat food. BUT this banana is guilt free and a delicious snack to carry in your bag for a busy day.It is quick,easy,filling, uses wholesome ingredients and is so satisfying so give it a try.You wont regret it!
Ingredients
4 Very Ripe Bananas
3 Tbsp Honey
60ml Light Olive Oil or Coconut Oil
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
3 Eggs
1/2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon OR 2 drops doTERRA Cinnamon essential oil
200g Almond Meal
½ Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180 Degrees and line a bread loaf tin with baking paper.
Place all ingredients (besides baking powder & lemon juice) into a high powered blender and blend until smooth.
Add lemon juice and baking powder together, combine, than add into the mixture until combined.
Pour into lined tine and bake approx. 40mins or until firm to touch.
This can be served warm or cold on its own or topped with different toppings such as peanut butter or ricotta and honey.DELISH!
