Chick Pea Brownies

When I seen these on a friends Instagram story I was so intrigued and than so sceptical when she sent me the recipe. Chickpea Brownies....Ummmm WTF. How would these even taste? But off I trotted to the pantry to find all the ingredients to make them and MY OH MY they did not disappoint. These are a fantastic snack for the lunch box, to have with a cuppa or to subside the sweet late nigh cravings.I absolutely love them so give them a go.You wont be disapointed.

Chickpea Brownies

Ingredients

2 Cans Chickpeas Washed & Drained

¼ Cup Honey or Maple

1/3 Cup Nut Butter- I Use Pure Peanut Butter

½ Tsp Baking Powder

Choc Chips To Garnish

  • Preheat oven to 160o Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

  • Place into silicon moulds and fill to the top. Garnish with choc chips and bake for approximately 25mins.

  • Leave to cool completely before turning them out. Place into a air tight container. They can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
